Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of Mexican vanilla
2 3/4 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of cream of tarter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mixture
This is to roll you snickerdoodle's in once you have make them into balls.
1/4 of a cup of white sugar
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
Cream together butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, the eggs and vanilla. Sift together your flour, cream of tartar soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix. Shape you dough into balls. About the size of a walnut.
Mix your mixture together, once your balls have been made, roll your balls around in the mixture. Place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. You can use parchment paper of a silicone mat to place them on.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. They should be soft not to hard. Take cookies off of sheet quickly.
