JELLO WITH MUCH LESS SUGAR

I did this jello at one of my classes.  A lady at the class was kind enough
to take a  picture for me.  She did a great job.
The jello is made with one small package of orange jello.  To this you add two tablespoons of plain gelation, Add 1 cup of boiling water to the jello and gelation.  Make sure you mix it well, so it is a nice syrup with out any extra little things not mixed in. Then you drain 2 small cans of mandarin oranges, 1-20 ounce can of crushed pineapple.  Take the juice and measure it.  You need to add 4 cups of liquid to the jello mixture.  You will probably only get about a cup and a half of juice off the fruit.  So add water, enough to make your 4 cups.  You now add 3 heaping tablespoons of orange juice.    Mix well! Put it it the refrigerator in a bowl.  When it looks like it is setting up, but not quite there.  Add 3 banana's and put it in a jello mold, if you want a fun shape.  This one was actually put in a silicone bun't pan that I do cinnamon pull apart's in.  It worked great.  Have fun with this recipe.
