HOMEMADE MINT ICE CREAM

Makes about 10 1/2 servings so I usually double it.

1 cup whole milk
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 cups of cream
2 drops of mint flavoring  (I use the Lorann Oils sold at the Bosch Kitchen Center)
3 crops of chocolate mint flavoring
4 drops of green food coloring

Mix all together.  I use the Bosch Mixer with the wire whips.  Mix about 1 to 2 minutes.  Turn on ice cream maker and pour in the ingredients.  Allow to mix and freeze until desired consistency is reached.  Begin checking consistency after about 15 minutes.  If ice cream is not thick enough, let it continue to freeze in your ice cream freezer.

We make our beautiful ice cream and then we put it in our Chocolate chocolate chip bowl.  Delicious!  The bowls are pictured below.  Have fun! One happy little girl.   A fun class.
For mint chocolate chip ice cream,  add mini chocolate chips.
