BANANA NUT PANCAKES
Today in our breakfast class we decided to do banana pancakes, if you like banana nut bread you will love these:
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 Egg
4 Tablespoons of melted butter
2 banana's that have been mashed
1 Tablespoon of sugar (honey or Xagave)
Put this in your Bosch mixer and mix with your wire whips
Sift together:
1 1/2 cups of ground whole wheat flour
3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
When all is mixed add in 1/2 cup of any kind of nut. (We use walnuts)
It will rise a little if you wait about 15 minutes, but you do not have too.
Once this is mixed together put on greased griddle and cook until done. Make sure you cook them on a lower heat. About 325 degrees, with all the banana's they will take a little longer to cook.
Layer your pancakes with 2 pancakes. Then cut up your banana's, pour you favorite syrup on top. Then top it off with some whipping cream. What a treat for breakfast. You will get filled up fast.
