The twins certainly were fun. They were so cute and we loved having them in our home. They grew up so fast and were soon toddlers. Diane was certainly more out going than Dan. It was fun to watch. I think having twins was a little hard on my mother because Jeanne was only 14 months old when the twins were born. When my mother brought the twins home some of us had the measles. So the twins were farmed out to Aunts who loved them and cared for them until we could have the twins back home. I'm sure that was hard on my mother. Luckily the time was short, and these 2 little precious children were home before we knew it.
