Giant Double Chocolate Cookies

1 cup of  butter, sliced tiny or softened
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup dark cocoa
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Put on parchment paper or a silicone baking mat on the cookie sheet.  In your Bosch bowl. put your softened or sliced butter and sugar with your cookie dough paddles then mix on 1st speed until light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes.  Blend in the eggs one at a time.  Use your bowl scraper if you have one, if not scrape down the sides of your bowl.  Mix all your dry ingredients together then add them to the bowl and mix on your first speed until all ingredients are mixed together.  Fold in your chocolate chips then put on your cookie sheet. We made these into large cookies.  We used a 1/2 cup ice cream scoop.

We did a class where we used this cookie recipe with the little's scoop we could find.  We did not add the chocolate chips.  We made the cream cheese frosting and sprinkled fun autumn leaves around the outside for our Halloween class.
